Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Seminar assignment is a matter of primary concern for students. We adopted the seminar assignment method, in which the teachers in charge put the students in each seminar with due regard to the balances of 3 elements: the major ranks of students, the fixed numbers of seminars and few involuntary students. These problems are solved using Genetic Algorithms but it took many hours. This time I has got the good results in a short while by using Hopfield Nets. Comparing three methods given above, the latter method showed the best performance. |
