Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Frequency respose of hearing aids is preadjusted to equalize patient's hearing loss characteristics, but it should also be adaptive to various noise enviroment. A simple transfer function is designed first which has very low computational complexity and is suited for adaptation. The function is 1st-order IIR and has two parameters. An algorithm is proposed to adjust the parameters, where an existing noise detection algorithm is combined. Experimental results show that SNR is improved for noise with nonuniform spectrum.
