Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the detection of two sinusoids by two second-order adaptive notch filters (ANFs), the minimum width of two line spectra which are detected individually by two ANFs represents the resolution of ANFs. This paper present the evaluation of the resolution theoretically. First, this paper proves that the mean square errors (MSEs) of single line spectrum inputs are convex and have one minimum. Next, this paper shows that the MSE curves by two line spectra need to have two local minima in order to detect them individually. Then conditions for two local minima are described by the spectrum width and the bandwidth of ANFs are derived. These conditions lead to the evaluation of the resolution.
