On the Capacity of Multi-track PR Channels

Abstract(in English) By shortening the gap between adjacent tracks in the magnetic recording, we might increase the recording density but this increase might be canceled by the increase of the inter-track interference. In this paper we discuss the relation between the mutual information ,i.e. the channel capacity, and the inter-track interference.
