Abstract(in English) | By shortening the gap between adjacent tracks in the magnetic recording, we might increase the recording density but this increase might be canceled by the increase of the inter-track interference. In this paper we discuss the relation between the mutual information ,i.e. the channel capacity, and the inter-track interference. |
