Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a DQDB (Distributed Queue Dual Bus) type bridge network connecting DQDB sub networks. We also propose a loop back retransmission scheme which prevents slot discarding in the bridge network. In order to improve slot utilization we should control slot discarding in the bridge network. We introduce a loop back technique and show that the slot discarding in the bridge network can be suppressed and the unfairness of the throughput depending on the bridge position on the network is improved.
