Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multichannel DFE (MDFE) is generally used with fractionally spaced (ES) FF filter in multi-anntenna reception, because the FS FF filter prevents power loss due to non-optimal signal reception to certain extent and, at the same time, shows considerable robustness to sampling timing error. At a low SNR, however, the MDFE with adptive FS FF filters sometimes false to perform better than the MDFE with symbol-space FF filter due to instability in coefficient update. We show that MDFE itself has robustness to timing error and, hence, FS FF filters are not necessarily required.
