Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we consider performance improvements of TCP over backbone ABR network. By using ACR information at edge-routers through ATM MI, we can adjust TCP Ack packet interval. Based on this TCP-ABR interworking scheme, we achieve no packet loss at the edge-router, no cell loss at ATM layer. We thus achieve a good end-to-end TCP performance as well as good ATM layer performance over backbone ABR. |
