Abstract(in English) In this paper, we report evaluation results of the failure recovery performance on GlobalOpenEthernet Systems, which we have proposed as a next-generation Ethernet-based VPN solution in metro area networks. The experimental results said that GOE System enabled 1/100 shorter protection than a legacy RSTP-based scheme and also could provide fast failure recovery performance almost equivalent to conventional SONET/SDH systems.
