Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology is attracting attention as a foundation for major next-generation Internet applications, and is already in widespread. However, in such distributed P2P systems, it is difficult to measure the scale of active nodes in those systems. In this paper, we propose estimation method for the scale of P2P systems. Furthermore, we apply the method to real P2P networks.
