Abstract(in English) From observation and analysis of SINET(Science Information Network), we have already known that SINET traffic has a long-range dependent property. It is necessary to realize network dimensioning, operation, and QoS control considering the traffic. In the first step of the realization, we are studying performance evaluation methods by using observed traffic data of SINET. In this paper, we describe evaluation methods of queue-length probability and average waiting time from the observed traffic.
