Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mobile IP provides IP mobility by means that a mobile node (MN) registers a current IP address (care-of-address : CoA) to its home agents (HA). However, packet routing becomes redundant with the Mobile IP since all packets to MN are received via HA. Meanwhile, with SIP providing application layer mobility, packets to MN are optimally routed because MN directly establishes a session to a correspondent node (CN) using a current IP address, but the session can not be kept in case MN changes its IP address. In this paper we propose a new mobility control system which can reduces the redundancy of packet routing and also maintains the sessions between MN and CN by interoperation between network layer (Mobile IP) and application layer (SIP) mobility. And we also consider the advantages of our proposed system.
