Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We suppose that service in the Internet is divided into the service for a very large destination address space and that for a small space. The former destination address space is a set that consists of the huge number of destination addresses on the Internet, and an example of the service for this space is web page search service. The latter consists of the limited number of addresses, and an example is e-commerce space. With respect to large destination address space, it is known that Zipf-type distributions characterize the Internet access patterns for destination addresses. Assuming a stationary condition to the address generation process, the process can be described by an LRU stack model. On the other hand, with respect to the limited address space, we confirm the address generation process can be also described by the LRU stack model. But the distribution for destination addresses is different from that of non-limited space. Therefore, we require to take into account the finite number of addresses to the address generation process. This paper proposes an address generation process for the limited address space, and shows our model produces the characteristics of access patterns.
