Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By the progress of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) technology, the network will be introduced even in vehicles, trains, aircrafts. Thus, achieving seamless communication in such environment becomes important. For this purpose, Mobile IP is standardizing in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force), and the Mobile Router in Mobile IP is considered to apply to the Mobile Network that changes its access point to other network. Though, the applicability of the Mobile Router has not discussed enough in the aspect of its implementation and routing mechanism. For instance, when the Mobile Node connects to the Mobile Network, it causes redundant route that passes two home agents for the Mobile Router and the Mobile Node. It makes difficult to use network resources efficiently. Thus, in this paper, we describe the outline of the implementation of the Mobile Router and propose Routing Mechanism for Mobile Network using Mobile Router to suppress the redundant route and IP header in the Mobile Node connects to Mobile Network in order to achieve effective use of network resources. We also evaluated the system based on our proposal to show the effectiveness.
