Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize a scalable and lightweight QoS monitoring system, we have proposed a new QoS monitoring technique, Change-of-Measure based Passive/Active Monitoring (CoMPACT Monitor). In our previous studies, we have shown that theoretical formulation of CoMPACT Monitor for the stationary user traffic. We also have shown characteristics of CoMPACT Monitor with respect to implementation issues by using a simple simulation model. To generalize the results to more realistic network environment from both theoretical and practical points of view, this paper shows the mathematical formulation of CoMPACT Monitor for nonstationary user traffic, and characteristics fo CoMPACT Monitor with respect to the network model with multiple paths and bottlenecks.
