| Abstract(in English) | For various commercial equipment installed within food stores, performing the constant maintenance management on them efficiently is very important in order to maintain the equipment in normal operating conditions. Hence we are promoting the development of the remote maintenance systems for commercial equipment. This paper introduces the remote maintenance systems for food stores and focuses in describing the system that reports equipment abnormalities to serviceman through electronic mail (e-mail) as well as e-mail to PHS. It also explains the adoption of Linux in this system from the point of extendibilily required in communication controller. |
