Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Down link high speed mobile data communication systems such as CDMA2000 1xEV-DO increasingly acquire importance. Because data transmission rates assigned to each mobile station in such systems depend on the channel condition of the mobile station and the scheduling algorithm exploits temporal fluctuations of these conditions to increase the system capacity, evaluation models of such systems need to consider the received signal quality. This study proposes a performance evaluation model of 1xEV-DO which is derived from characteristics of the proportional fairness scheduling algorithm and incorporates average SNR of each mobile station. The condition under that this model is applicable is shown from the viewpoint of propagation characteristics.
