Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the wide spread of streaming services such as video on demand, the importance of ensuring the stability of the servers providing streaming services increaseses remarkably. To ensure the stability of the servers, the administrator should know the up-to-date condition of a streaming server and a network. However, the execution of monitoring and reporting systems on a streaming server will increase the server load unnecessarily. We propose a system which is able to notify the condition of a streaming server and a network to the administrator without increasing the load of the server. Our system presumes the condition of a server and a network without increasing server load by the observation of the packets between a server and clients. In this paper, we show the method of analyzing the observated data to identify the parameter which indicate the condition of the server and the network.
