Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Up to now, many studies have been dedicated to model the performance of TCP. This study focuses on the interaction among many competing TCP connections that arrive and depart probabilistically. We propose a queueing model consist of a queue with processor sharing service discipline and another queue modeling the impact of slow start phase of TCP. The accuracy of the proposed model is investigated by comparison with packet-level simulation results.
