Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Up to now, many studies have been dedicated to model the performance of TCP. This study focuses on the interaction among many competing TCP connections that arrive and depart probabilistically. We propose a queueing model consist of a queue with processor sharing service discipline and another queue modeling the impact of slow start phase of TCP. The accuracy of the proposed model is investigated by comparison with packet-level simulation results. |
