Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we evaluate the new packet forwarding scheme [1] based on per-packet end-to-end deadlines in adaptive multi-path routing networks. conventional flow-oriented schemes to guarantee end-to-end deadlines by 'scheduling', such as EDD, have to prevent congestion in heavy loads because of use of a single shortest path. The proposed scheme can achieve load balancing using adaptive multi-path routing, and dynamically priority control according to per-packet deadlines of their destination nodes. It is shown that properties of probability of delay violation and loss, under several conditions of different network sizes and node allocations, can be obtained by computer simulations.
