Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although several planning technologies have been under development in recent years, all have problems with efficiency in application to a ubiquitous computing environment, where the available services change from time to time and place to place. As a solution, we propose a new method of service composition in which we define a service category as a group of services which have common functions and express workflows in terms of service categories. The proposed method aims to define the most suitable management rule for each service as a set of parameters expressed in the Ontology Web Language (OWL). This paper also gives the details of the rule that restricts inheritance of parameters among the services so that efficient service composition is achieved.
