Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Participatory modeling(companion modeling) is the methodology for solving real problems with stakeholders by a multi-agent simulation based on stakeholders' decision models extracted from role-playing games. In this paper, we, report a part of activity of a participatory modeling which we actually joined. This participatory modeling project is organized by two research institutes(IRRI & CIRAD) in Thailand, tackling a problem of agricultural economics in the northeast Thailand. Finally we discuss a relationship of participatory modeling with multi-agent simulation and our future plan to apply machine learning to this participatory modeling.
