Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, agent applications to a enterprise domain which is called B2B and e-business is becoming a main issue. However, the problem of lack of reliability and robustness in an agent has been the obstacle of the widespread deployment of an agent to enterprise domain. In this paper, we propose the architecture for integrating agent technology with EJB. By deploying an agent on EJB container with a commercial track record using the technique of EJB, EJB container can treat an agent as EJB. After that, agents can be provided with multiply services offered from EJB container such as transaction managements. Thereby, the improvement in an agent's reliability can be expected and the use of an agent in a business world can be enhanced.
