Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Research on machine translation has been focusing on increasing the quality of translation so that users can understand documents written in different languages. However, there still exists a limitation of the quality, and we cannot expect perfect translation. Meanwhile, collaboration environments require the interactivity of translators so that users can share the degree of understanding. By establishing a new evaluation criterion, interactivity, we can create a new approach to intercultural collaboration, where AI and CSCW meet. |
