Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For efficient use of information network, quick, continuous and discentralized allocation of network bandwidth to various sorts of demand is required. The authors have proposed a market-based model for network resource allocation introducing forward market in order to achieve efficient trading by software agents. That is, time to certain future is divided into many time-slots, and open markets for the bandwidth in all the time-slots. This paper discusses transaction mechanisms for the market-based model. Walrasian adjustment method that has been commonly used in the market-based model and 'Itayose', a call auction method used in the real security market are compared through computer simulation.
