Abstract(in English) | This paper describes the high-density signal processing technologies for HD DVD, next-generation DVD using blue LD. Especially, we discuss the newly developed ETM code and the disk performance evaluation index PRSNR suitable for PRML signal processing. Next, we show the optimum recording technique with PRSNR for 20 GB rewritable disc. |
