| Abstract(in English) | This report proposes a visual navigation system that provides the driver with the image around the vehicle captured by CCD cameras, overlapped by ranging data to objects measured by a laser ranging system, and an expected area where the vehicle can reach with the present location, steering and velocity. The system aims at driver assistance especially for tight maneuvering on driving along a narrow roadway or at an intersection with blind spots, and on parking. |
