Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the production of the character animation, the motion of characters is the very important element in directing the works. The animator should direct the certain specific motion to the character. However, this work greatly depends on animator's experience, know-how and skill, and requires time. This paper proposes an applicable, novel interface that can decide the whole body pose of a character by one-time operation. During the work of making poses in key frames, motion dynamics and kinematics are used for controlling the links of the whole body of a character at one operation. The movement of the relating joint is decided and the pose of the whole body is decided by in real time executing of the motion dynamics calculation at the same time. The motions between key frames are interpolated and optimized by executing the forward dynamics and inverse-kinematics continuously. The relaxation parameter is introduced to make a smoother, more natural motion during the dynamics and kinematics calculation.
