Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The recovery of 3D motion and structure from two-dimensional dynamic images is an important issue in computer vision. For the case of orthographical projection, Sugihara and Sugie proposed a method, where a rigid body consisting of three feature points can be recovered from optical flows at two moments. We note that the accuracy of optical flow, especially the accuracy of velocities in the images are rather low. To obtain accurate recovery from inaccurate optical flow, we propose a recover, predict, verify and adjust approach and confirmed the efficacy through simulation studies, we conducted experiments by changing the effective accuracy from five digits of positions and four digits of velocities to two digits of positions and one digits of velocities.
