Reducing the Calculation Cost of Binary Image Retrieval

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel method for retrieving binary images by using a binary tree. In the proposed method, a binary tree, in which each leaf has a group of the images belonging to the database, is used. To retrieve the desired images, the tree is traced by comparing the similarities between the input image and the images which correspond to the leaves in the tree, and then the group, which corresponds to the reached leaf in the tree, of the images to be displayed for the user is determined. Moreover, tin' proposed method uses training and reclustering. The training assigns the Weights to the partial features based on the similarity between the input image and the desired image, and after training, the desired image is reclustered. By these methods, the time for the computation of the similarities to retrieve the desired images is decreased.
