Abstract(in English) | We present the segmentation method of color images which controls an excessive partition. Segmentation of images including both man-made objects and natural objects sometimes produces the excessive partition due to the texture regions such as trees, leaves and walls. The purpose of the proposed method is to provide rough segmentation of texture regions in natural objects while maintaining precise segmentaion of important edge regions in man-made objects. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison with the conventional method. |
