Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the efficient video mosaicing method of high resolution image generated from a video sequence with zooming-in and scanning operations. By zooming-in and scanning operations, synthesized image of arbitrary resolutions can be generated theoretically, although the distortion caused by cumulative errors degrades the picture quality of mosaiced image very heavily. As a solution of this problem, we have newly developed a video mosaicing method based on the following information: 1. Reference image, 2. Coverd area by Camera 3. Camera position. In this paper, followed by the description of concept and algorithm of our method, some experimental results are also discussed.
