Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is difficult to extract a precise shape of object automatically from an image which is taken in an environment with no limitation (e.g. object's kind can't be specified, the camera isn't fixed, many movement objects exist in the background, and so on.) In this paper we present the precise object automatic extraction algorithm for such difficult scene. By use the color information of reference image and disparity map estimated from a stereo image, we realize a high precision object automatic extraction even if the background color is similar to the object color or there are no textured regions. And, we examine about the influence on the extraction precision with planning the simplification of the system by using a low resolution camera for one of the stereophonic cameras.
