| 抄録(和) | 近年,ITSに関する研究が盛んに行われており,運転者の道路環境認識作業を補完する技術として車両前方の道路環境画像から標識を抽出・認識して運転者に提示するシステムが数多く提案されている.これらの技術の多くにおいて,認識処理は抽出画像のサイズ調整を行った後にテンプレート・マッチングを行っている.しかしながら,画像のリサイズによって画質が悪化するため,認識率の低下を招く.また,画質悪化の低減のためには高度な処理が必要となり多大な処理時間を要する.本稿では,抽出画像の各ピクセルにおいて輪郭ベクトルを算出し,それらを連続的に追跡することによって得られるベクトル方向列と基準画像のものとを比較することによる認識手法を提案する. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, methods and techniques for ITS are researched actively. Many road environment detection systems that assists drivers' judgement and makes up oversight of road environments are proposed. In many of these systems, recognition of road signs are achieved by resizing image and employing template matching. Though, resizing image will reduce it's quality, and will cause the system to fail in matching. In this paper, a recognition method based on vectors is proposed. After calculating of vectors on each pixel, outline vector lists are. generated by tracing the vectors. Then, signatures of the image are generated from detected outline vector lists. Recognition is processed by matching these signatures to template signatures using string matching technique. |
