| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a fast Digital Video (DV) to MPEG-2 conversion algorithm. At first, 2x4x8 DCT to 8x8 DCT conversion and sampling format conversion were employed for the DV to MPEG-2 I-picture conversion. The experimental results show that the proposed method is more than 10 times faster than a baseband domain conversion while about the same PSNR is obtained. |
