Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In surveillance, it is performed to count and trace persons in moving pictures taken by a camera. It is better to use one camera considering camera stand area and its cost; however, in this case persons in the picture are overlapped and it is difficult to extract the persons. In this paper, a method extracting and tracing persons is described. At first, the candidate area is extracted by calculating a different image between the current image and its background. Next, a candidate area including some persons is dissolved and the extracted information is used for the next tracing. Finally, we succeeded in tracing persons with only one camera.
