Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a fading emulator dedicated for performance evaluation of diversity antennas mounted on mobile terminals under the multipath propagation environment. This model is composed of 7 scatterers, a phase circuit and an attenuation circuit. The 7 scatterers are located on the circumference of 0.9m in radius at equal intervals. The phase and the amplitude of each wave radiated from scatterers are controlled by phase circuit and by attenuation circuit so that the multipath propagation environment such as Rayleigh distribution or Rice distribution should be constructed in the middle of them. The results indicate that Rayleigh distribution can be constructed within the range of 0.45m from the center and a correlation coefficient within the range of 0.8 lambda corresponds to the case of Jake's model. The performance evaluation of the diversity antennas mounted on handset model under the multipath propagation environment in free space and in a talk position with the real human body can be evaluated.
