Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Onboard large-scale phased array feed systems are studied to improve satellite antenna performances. In order to realize lightweight onboard satellite antennas, we proposed a technique that uses linear interpolation to reduce the number of amplitude/phase control circuits. The technique can reduce the number of amplitude/phase control circuits by about two-thirds compared to the conventional phased array. We confirmed the validity of the proposed method by calculating antenna patterns of a designed phased-array-fed reflector antenna.
