Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The rapid evolution of the high-speed wireless communication services has greatly increased the demand for the spatial higher utilization of the frequency spectrum. In response to this, accurate DOA estimation techniques which can be applied to the practical high-speed wireless access points have been receiving major emphases. In order to assess the actual performance of the DOA estimation methods under the effects of scattering objects placed in the vicinity of the antennas, it is important to choose the typical W-LAN access points which are used as the reference for the surface leakage current of W-LAN access points. In this paper, two models for the simulated W-LAN access points have been analyzed in terms of the accuracies of the DOA estimation for the several incoming coherent waves in order to evaluate the effects of the leakage current on the conducting body of the access points.
