Abstract(in English) | We demonstrated a 160-Gbit/s OTDM receiver with a pulse reshaping function using a cross-absorption modulation (XAM) gate followed by a self-phase modulation (SPM) based pulse-level discriminator. We confirmed gate performance improvement by the discriminator for demultiplexing from 160 Gbit/s to 10Gbit/s, and demonstrated pulse level stabilization for all tributary channels.The proposed scheme offers simple and multifunctional demultiplexing in ultra-fast OTDM receivers operating at 160 Gbit/s and beyond. |
