Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rotating element electric field vector (REV) method has been widely used for phased array antenna calibration, because it has two superior features; (1) It can obtain a radiation field of each element antenna in active state that includes BFN errors, mutual coupling, diffraction and so on. (2) It can be realized only by amplitude measurement and it requires no phase measurement. However, it causes measurement period effort because it requires phase variation of 360[deg.] for each element antenna. In this report, we propose a novel measurement method in order to reduce measurement period, which can be called an advanced REV method based on the Fourier series expansion. The proposed method can measure radiation fields of several element antennas simultaneously. Also, it was validated by measured results.
