Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates a relation between angle resolution and element intervals of an ESPAR antenna in order to find a element interval which increases angle resolution. Simulation results clarify that the ESPAR antenna with an element interval of 0.6λ achieves angle estimation error of about 0.1 degree. Furthermore, we also find that there is little improvement of angle resolution for the ESPAR antenna with 0.25λ- to 0.55λ-intervals.
