Abstract(in English) This paper presents and considers a method of paired estimation of propagation delay time and direction of arrival (DOA) of multipath waves in CDMA communications. In order to get DOAs, this method applies Unitary MUSIC to array data which consist of delay profile samples from sliding correlator connected to each element of array antenna. From those DOA estimates, the corresponding delay times are estimated more accurately, which leads to paired estimation of delay time and DOA of each multipath wave. Via computer simulation in 1-user and 2-user environments, it is confirmed that the proposed method gives high performance in DOA estimation compared with the method of using simply Unitary MUSIC to array data directly obtained from each antenna element, and also it is found that the paired estimation is almost completely accomplished.
