Abstract(in English) This paper presents a built-in antenna applicable to information appliances, especially for household appliances. The antenna consists of a small loop antenna, which operates as a magnetic ideal dipole, and a transmission-line antenna functioning as an electric current antenna. The two parts of the antenna provide good radiation characteristics when the antenna is near to metal objects and a high gain in free space respectively. An experimental antenna with dimensions of 8mm(H)×22mm(L)×10mm(W) at 429MHz was fabricated. The gain of the antenna is larger than that without a transmission-line antenna structure by 7 dB. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed antenna built in household appliances is confirmed by the measurements.
