Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a triple-band base-station antenna which has a 120 degrees beam in the horizontal plane in the 0.8/1.5GHz-bands and dual 60 degrees beams in the horizontal plane in the 2GHz-band. A multi-frequency antenna is effective in limited installation spaces such as a top of steel towers. This antenna provides coverage area of both 3-sector radio zone for PDC and 6-sector radio zone for W-CDMA in big cities. This paper also presents a design method of this antenna by using the moment method and shows the results of a prototype model.
