Abstract(in English) | In the past, demodulation of low bit rate PSK signals received from the communications satellites were difficult due to existence of the phase noise. This paper proposes the carrier recovery method of a low bit rate PSK signal with phase noise using DSP technologies. Communication with omni-directional terminals are aimed. The received signal is truncated with overlap. Each truncated time samples are squared and transformed to frequency samples by FFT. Then the peak and the second peak components are used to calculate carrier frequency and phase. If truncation interval were short compared to variation of frequency due to phase noise, it is possible to eliminate effect of the phase noise. By the simulation, it was shown that deterioration of BER was about 1dB compared with the theoretically value. |
