Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an interference canceller with detection of channel variation. Though the performance of DS-CDMA systems is limited by multiple access interference (MAT), the capacity of channel increases by using the interference canceller. However, if estimates of the channel characteristic in the interference canceller deteriorate, then the received signal deteriorates because multiple access interference is not correctly reducted. Moreover, the transmission of pilot signals decrease transmission efficiency in the environment without channel variation. We therefore propose a detection method of channel variation. The proposed detection method utilizes the correlation between the input and output signals of interference canceller because the channel variation causes some variation of the correlation. Hence, if the correlation changes, the interference canceller estimates the channel by using the pilot signals. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can decrease pilot signals and improve the BER performance.
