Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Shared-TDD scheme has been proposed for accommodation of asymmetric communications between uplink and downlink. The application of Shared-TDD scheme to common channel communication causes difficulty of TDD boundary control. This paper proposes TDD boundary control scheme which can optimize the TDD boundary based on the ratio of up-link traffic to down-link traffic by estimating the up-link traffic in CDMA/Shared-TDD cellular packet systems. Computer simulations show that the proposed scheme can control radio resource effectively, and thus improves total throughput efficiency.
