Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a watermarking scheme using an unorthogonal transformation that automatically generates the watermarked images with a desired image quality in terms of the PSNR, and simultaneously extracts embedded information without any reference images. Using wavelet transformation as an unorthogonal transformation, the relation of the signal energy between transformed domain and the spatial domain is considered by filter coefficients of the synthetic filters which each subband passes. The proposed scheme controls image degradation caused by watermarking by using the relationship mentioned above. By simulation, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is investigated.
