Watermark Detection Based on Bayes Decision Method

Abstract(in English) In this paper, based on a model of watermark distortion caused by image processing of watermarked image, we propose a watermark detection method using Bayes decision method. In the proposed method, we first estimate the watermark distortion model for all candidates of the embedded watermark by minimizing the difference between the extracted (distorted) watermark and the candidate using an adaptive algorithm, and then judge that the watermark whose distortion model is the closest to that obtained from advance information of image processing is embedded in the watermarked image.
