Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA), fast Fourier transform (FFT) can be applied to received signal sequence to carry out joint frequency-domain equalization (FDE) and antenna diversity combining on each subcarrier component. In this paper, equalization weights for joint FDE and antenna diversity combining based on minimum mean square error (MMSE), maximal ratio combining (MRC) and zero-forcing (ZF) are derived. The conditional bit error rate (BER) is derived for the given set of channel gains in a frequency-selective fading channel. The average BER performance is numerically evaluated using the derived conditional BER and is confirmed by computer simulation. Performance comparison between DS- and MC-CDMA both using FDE is presented.
